    Didn't pay it, but saw a Loves here on 84 probably back in Oregon for 4.05$. I filled up in Pendleton for 3.17$

    During the recession when gas prices went bonkers i paid $11 a gallon in the bakken oilfield at once point and that was the "cheap" station.

    Why is Loves so high? Fuel mart in Tuscola, IL has fuel for $3.149 per gallon.

    Yes, that’s highest, usually fuel QuikTrip in Joplin, Mo, it’s 2.82/gallon

    Surprisingly California isn't the highest right now. Just looked at my fuel app at the places near Sacramento, and everything is running from $4.01 to $4.25 a gallon.
