you think so? i can walk up to anyone on the street, any time, a cop interrogating someone, stick a microphone in their face and they can't say anything about what I am doing?

That is correct, the Supreme court allows the recording of any public official while performing their duties, and again makes no distinction between audio or video

You can record but you cannot interfere

Can you take Mercer’s flats to a different carrier as long as you keep paying the monthly payment….?

Certainly not. But I have been a manager and terminal manager at two well known companies and understand both sides of the issues. Drivers do not see the whole picture and many do not have an understanding of how much of the operations actually work. Usually they only see what they want to, and if everything is not howbthey thinknit should be, or they are not making money, itbis someone else's fault.

No company is perfect, far from it. But a lot of drivers seem to think they are the best drivers the industry has ever seen.

    Two sides to every story.

Does Mercer allow Conestogas? I am considering joining the team if they'll let me on, but for dry van starting out. I currently do a flatbed lease purchase but will be purchasing a dry van spec truck. I live in NC and every Mercer driver I've talked at truck stops says I'll be better off in dry van where I live, but I'd really like to continue doing flatbed work. With my truck specs, I'm thinking of just buying a Conestoga eventually. I wouldn't have the clearance with my truck to overhang anyways on a regular flat.
