Used to load 45K of bagged millet from a place in Genoa, Co. The dock was a dirt ramp, always filled with mud/muck. We use our 3-axle chassis to haul those loads, the problem being, once the chassis is shortened it takes weight off our drives, not to mention, once we're backed into this hole, the chassis starts to settle, the water would often be hub deep on the back axle, the combination of this made it hard to get out, especially in the winter or during mud season, we'd end up stuck. Sometimes, they'd just use the small farm tractor (2wd 5 series Deere), on a few occasions they hooked up two of them. Then there was a couple times where they needed something bigger, like a 9R series (dual tires per axle), then there was the day where I was really stuck, it was snowing, the dock was hub deep, temps were in the 20's with a howling wind, took them 4 hours to load because of equipment issues. Just backing into the dock I had issues, so I chained up, when it came time to get out, it wasn't happening, I was spinning, first they tried a loaded end dump, nope, then they tried the two small Deere, nope, two of the guys ran into town and came back with the big 9R, twice it almost got me out, on the third try, we heard a "bang" and hydraulic fluid started gushing out. They moved it off to the side, and left, 30 minutes later I see this ginormous green thing with tracks coming across the bridge, not sure what model it was, but the farmer driving it hooked a strap to both my tow hooks, told me to leave it in neutral and release my brakes, I'm not even certain he gave it fuel, it simply idled backwards and pulled me out like nothing.

when out west i call it the wind tunnel cause it goes from panhandle tx north thru oklahjoma into kansas and so on winds are always blowing thru there i all the time slow down thru those areas if im under 12000 so this could of been weather related
