If you are a carrier with lots of trucks everything is a different story as they have the power of volume to negotiate with nationwide fuel brands.

Pump price however, countless times I've seen .40-.50 cheaper fuel on same street by local fuel station compared to big brands.

A lot of the mom and pop stations don't accept your specific company fuel card by the way.

I never said they did. I was just pointing out that fuel points are not a ripoff for the majority of drivers out here. Also, pointed out that mom and pop merchandise is no cheaper than chains. Do you think that it is cheap to operate a truck stop?

    Drinks and food certainly are.
Got myself some $0.99 bottle water recently.
And 3 for $4 propel drinks.
Won't ever see that at the TA or Peelot.

Has anyone been told that they are limited to how many points they can use at one time?

I have a driver with a crap load of points and he was making purchases for Christmas and the girl couldn’t let him use the amount of points he needed for some reason.

Biggest purchase I have ever made was a garmin for $299, all points, a couple of years ago. It was actually the store manager who rung me up. I heard him muttering something to another employee in a happy manner. I didn’t pry, but from what I heard it sounded like I was helping him meet some metric goal with my purchase.

Can’t use points on some items. Tobacco, etc. so it will only allow the max points that can be used. The cashier doesn’t know what the total points balance is usually. Only what registers say can be used

I used the Loves points to buy the Garmin 10” dezl about 2 months ago. All on points. Only bought it because there was $100 off and I had over $800 worth of points. It was 700 instead of 800. No questions asked. By the way, no way would I buy this for cash. I just keep saving them and then splurge on things I wouldn’t buy with cash.
