How do you position yourself for max profit after a hurricane?

Sometimes you can bring supplies in a day to two before that pay well. Then grab a last minute load out that has to go before things close. Then bounce around major cities for a couple days until it’s over and then take relief supplies back in. From major cities.

Timing is everything though. Rates can go sky high or in the crapper. You want to be going the opposite direction as most everyone else. That’s my best advice.

 

Seems like the lead up to a hurricane would be a much safer bet than after. People hoarding supplies is always good incentive to increase shipments. The problem after a storm is with debris and washed out roads which may make it impossible to make deliveries.

 

Anyone get stuck in the flooding in the northeast last week?
