Ann Arbor Township,MI-1 Person Killed

What a mess! No indication of how or why it happened. Looks like it would take more than one mistake to cause that, though.

 

M-14 is a #### show, and full of entitled snobs that are more important than anyone else on the road. Not saying that's what caused it, but I'm just saying..... The whole Ann Arbor area, actually.

I said it many times b4 I retired, "some truck drivers drive as bad as 4 wheelers". Possibly the 2 rock haulers were following too close. A couple of co. drivers I ran with followed too close I told them to back off, just b/c we were running 2gether u dont have to tailgate. Safety Dept would not be too happy with there was a wreck involving 2 co. trucks.

I've never liked M-14 especially going east between I-94 and Miller. Cars do really stupid things on that short stretch of road because they don't want to wait behind trucks on the off ramp.

This stood out to me though. "Budnik was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the truck. He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said."
Along with "Budnik,..., was going too fast on M-14 as he approached a construction area where traffic was slowed to a standstill, crashing into several other trucks"
