A truck is a tool. You learn how to use it properly, or you find another line of work.

I drive a Volvo with an automatic.
I am rarely loaded below 78,900lbs.

The truck came with a manual.
    I read it.
I admit I'm still learning how to get the most out of the trans, but the book explained a lot.
    I have no complaints.

If they put it in the shop tomorrow and gave me a manual, I'd go drive it.

    Again, it's just a tool.

However, I'll give Tibbs and the rest of you O/Os a pass on this, because I can't think of anything ####tier than having your own truck for years, then having to use a Penske rental for a month or more....

The crapcadia I am currently piloting has the DD15 with the DT12 it gets decent fuel mileage. I have nothing else positive to say about this combo the shortcomings would take a wall of text to list. I don’t wish anyone to think X1 is back.

You have to drop the drop deck/flatbed and go back to pulling a reefer now.

    I know, right?

It's been crazy on the ITR and OHTPK today. So much so, I'm shutting down now, and starting again at midnight.

Besides, I had a 14-hr day yesterday, and drove out my full 11.

And I know that's "all in a day's work" for a lotta you guys, but those long days really knock this old kid back on his heels, anymore. I don't snap back like I used to....
