Wilson Logistics. Owner is still involved in the business, dispatchers don't get away with harassing drivers, no chains required (they prefer you don't), and their training is hands on. I'm not with them any longer, but still recommend them especially for rookies.

Trucks are also well outfitted with comforts like EPU, TV w Dish Network, and refrigerators.

Stevens you have a choice of what truck your going to drive after their orientation. As many mega companies would rather you drive for them for 6 months before you get a good new truck.

They all hire new cdl school grads. If at the time you apply they don't need drivers, then will say they want experience.
Do an actual application before any phone calls. I wouldn't have listed them if I didn't think you have at least a 99.5% chance of being hired.

I’ve no experience with any of them, but Western Express just feels right to me. It has a rather tantalizing ring that just rolls comfortably off of my tongue.

My personal experience with Werner in 2004 was terrible. I literally made more during training than on some of my weeks on my own. They ran me up and down I95 with no EZ pass and couldn't be bothered to route me through a terminal to get one. I got a 34 hour reset in a dirt drop yard a mile up the road from the nearest running water. It's possible they've improved since then but I'll never find out first hand.

I drove for USX 2 different times. Midwest regional was very unreliable both for income and hometime(2005). Dollar general account was consistently profitable with reliable hometime. (2006-2013)

Holy water? I don’t have to hang upside here and listen to that kind of crazy talk!
