Why is it now every driver that passes me, their trailer is almost in my lane and they come over just as they're clear of my nose.....??? Do some of you drivers not know to check your mirror or give another driver some space on the road ??

I saw a safety film a couple years ago that quoted a statistic for a state that 25% of fatalities for that year on the interstate, involved a parked vehicle.

Sometimes you just can’t move because a 4wheeler is using you as a shade tree.

that is when you hug the line to your left as much as possible if you can clear the parked vehicle on the shoulder. If not then your preparing to slow down or come to a stop.

either way it’s a dangerous game and not all drivers scan the road ahead.

driverless trucks are coming to replace the steering wheel holder, that’s for sure.

Ah, okay, that makes some amount of sense. Probably the only edge case that does

I see that too. And not every now and then. I'm talking every single truck. My guess is they're pulling the steering wheel when they're checking their mirror. Takes way too many brain cells to keep the steering wheel straight when you take your eyes off the road.

    Does it though?
I might be more inclined to blame lower total control by how tight steering on everything is nowadays, trucks included. I can keep my truck (94 kw) straight as an arrow using my mirrors looking at the white line, but put me in my relatively new car (04 malibu) and i feel like im all over the place just looking ahead straight
