So horrible. I knew Jim. He was a good guy and always had a good sense of humor. RIP

Wow looks like a driver crushed him moving forward. Are they sure it was an accident ?
This happened at a dock I work at but the truck that crushed the guy was backing.alds Thanks this. -
Yeah they say an accident. Further investigation will be ongoing. They inspected the truck and said no mechanical malfunction. I’m wondering if the driver was playing on his phone and not paying attention or something. Security was checking the seal on a trailer and the guy behind him drove up and crushed him…horrible way to goNavigatorWife, Shackdaddy and bzinger Thank this.

I Read lunged forward, so foot slipped off clutch?
Maybe oil or diesel on sole of shoe?
Either way it’s a bad situationWestern flyer, Bean Jr., NavigatorWife and 6 others Thank this. -
Its a Wal-Mart... More likely a flip-flop slipped off a foot, than oil or diesel causing a slick boot.RogerThat72, Aamcotrans, Lonesome and 9 others Thank this.

I’ll have to remember that next time someone I don’t like is in front of the truck. Just put some oil on the shoe you say and then put on an act ?
Lol, not saying for sure that’s what happened here.
Pretty sure this guys family is gonna get a lot of money though.NavigatorWife and T.Rucker Thank this. -
Just sayin... ever fuel up where some knucklehead has topped tanks off, splashing fuel everywhere, then try to push clutch down?Bean Jr., NavigatorWife, just_sayin and 5 others Thank this.

That place has no sense of humor about their safety rules……..
that does suck……NavigatorWife, T.Rucker and bzinger Thank this. -
So horrible, wonder how close to the trailer the second truck was? I usually leave at least a tractor length, surely they will be enforcing 2nd truck space more.
jaxboy3436, NavigatorWife, DOGSLIFE and 2 others Thank this. -
Yeah for sure! I know with their WM drivers they say leave a trailer length between so I’m wondering if it was an outside carrier who was impatient and wanted to get through the gate so he could hurry up and wait to get unloaded. Either way, more rules are sure to follow…NavigatorWife, DOGSLIFE, Snailexpress and 1 other person Thank this.
