It could work as long as you have some extra antiseize, torque wrench, and brake pad holders. It'd be a huge pain in the butt to get it on and off. Make sure to protect the bearings as well. I've still been thinking it over. Think it might be workable to have a "fishing pole" type winch that mounts into stake pockets and folds up for storage. You have your mounting points all over the trailer rated for weight. Just don't get a full length load. It's still the dream. Just staying a dream for now.

Wouldn't cover it. It would block to much air through the rad
Farmerbob1 and Tb0n3 Thank this. -
Also, the black birds in Texas would be really confused. They are used to eating the bugs off radiator screens. The bike might spook them. You might actually have to clean your own bugs off the radiator screen.

I thought about that. If one were to be very dedicated to covering for the rain, and uncovering after the rain, I wonder if the rain / splash / mist hitting the radiator (and pulling out extra heat) when raining would make up the difference in the lowered amount of airflow if the bike were covered only when raining.
I believe that if man can land on the moon, a solution can be figured out for this much simpler issue. I'm just too dumb to be the one who comes up with the solution. Maybe we can submit this issue to Trump, and he can assign NASA to figure this out...James j and Farmerbob1 Thank this. -
Not any good for freeway, but I've always thought a Chinese scooter on the catwalk would be the way to go. Throw a cheap cover on it, use a sliding channel/ramp along with a Harbor Freight swivel truck bed crane, and Bob's your uncle.

Is it fun to ride like a fat girl also?

A good tool for the disabled. If I'm loading in my pickup I prefer to use folding ramps.

Just had to load the wifes bike 2 weeks ago after it wouldn't start 100 miles from home.
Rode back and got the pick up.
Was gonna bring my kendon trailer but seemed like overkill.
Gave my ramp away couple yrs ago so...
Used a 2×10 and a hill.
Was still a pia.
Turned out to be a short in the fuse box.Elroythekid Thanks this. -
