So business has frown I need to get out of my truck to manage the business. Not quite ready to sell it. Any tips for parking a truck for 3-4 months? I have a battery disconnect. Is there something I should add to the fuel so no algea or asphaltine accumulates

If you are able to crank it up once a month or so it should be fine. If not probably need to put a battery tender on it. 3 or 4 months is not very long for a truck to sit.

Fill her up and a heavy shot of power service/fuel additive of your choice and throw a couple of buckets on the stacks
ivory soap and dryer sheets help keep the varmints at bay buy a kill block or two on the floor mat probably won’t hurt either -
They still put buckets over the stacks?! I had clackers on mine back in the day. I have used buckets too. -

Add 1/2 gal of atf in each tank, (, 100 gal tank )this will add lube to the fuel ,run for little bit to get the mix into injectors and cyl. This will help along with start up ever so often .

Rats eating the wiring is the biggest issue
a solar panel charger bungeed to the roof or sitting on the dash should keep the batteries up but I’d try to get it out and drive it a few miles every week or two.
letting it sit is far worse than driving it .Wespipes Thanks this. -
Mine was parked for almost 8 months stretch from November 2019 until about July 2020 and I didn't do anything special other than crank it up about 3 or 4 times and ran it around the block twice. Do not leave ANY sort of food in there. Nothing. Not even cans. No ketchup packs or anything like that and you should be fine as far as mice go. That was one of my longest stretches but I've parked my truck for a month to 3 months many times over the past 10 years and never had any issues other than the throttle pedal pivoting pin seizing up or not working freely enough from lack of use which is a simple fix.

Mice love the wiring now that the fed gov requires it be insulated with plastic made from soybeans instead of petroleum.
