Having that issue where you set the idle and the truck starts blasting full HEAT when it's 90+ out....


Turning the power disconnect didn't seem to fix it and only fix I ever found was going in pc and driving around the block. That for whatever reason resets something making it work right.

 

Wow SSB, I just hopped on here for the first time in a while and saw this thread on the front page. You know I climbed out of the truck back in 2015, but now I'm a dispatch manager at a Ruan terminal in the Florida panhandle on a dedicated supermarket account. Hard to believe I joined this website 15 years ago.

And you gotta remember, half of everybody is below average. And there's no real way to tell up front which end of the bell curve you're talking to (or the middle, where most people are). You would not believe some of the stuff I witnessed, especially when I was a fleet manager at USX. I don't want to go into details here, but at the mega carriers, half their drivers are the reason why they may sometimes feel they need to explain how many sheets of paper to use and how many times to fold it over in the restroom.
