I think he got safety points for not showing enough ON DUTY time on his logs. They would like to see enough when doing your PTIs, load/unload, fuel etc. I have talked to other drivers who got dinged the for the same thing.

    Ok that makes more sense.

I think I know who that driver is. Has a YouTube channel. Doesn't strike me as the type that would be late on a regular basis anyway.

When I was on the crete side, they kept me east the whole time. So far the 3.5 weeks I've been on Shaffer I haven't went east yet. Had me run circles between Colorado and Texas and some loads to California. The day will come im sure.

New drivers can get on Walmart dedicated. When I ran it we had 2 drivers who hired right onto the account.

For other dedicated accounts you can talk to a recruiter on availability.

I'm with Schneider, I just applied to Crete today. They responded immediately. After reading thread, not feeling good about it. I feel too micromanaged here at big orange. I'm not getting sent East of CO, even though I'm supposed to be all 48. Miles and pay are OK but not great. Thought this might be a better move but idk.

    For what it is worth…
I do have a YouTube channel and I’m never late. The 2 points were for not showing enough on time on my logs. A simple phone call would have sufficed.
As I have said before, my tolerance for ######## is directly proportional to the amount of money I’m making. Lately the money has got better.
I have also spent the last few weeks running the west side of the country. As of right now, I am running Walmart loads in Cheyenne Wyoming. So far so good. Beautiful country out here.

They must have a shortage of drivers to catch up for the weather a week or so ago...my Asset Manager sent out a request for volunteers to work out of Cheyenne the other day.
