Looking for input before I start cold calling companies.
What shippers should I avoid?
Any shippers stand out to anyone?
Mostly hauling power only but I do have a flatbed and access to a reefer.
Time to eliminate the brokers.
Shippers in Kentucky, eliminating brokers?

At this point in the game i dont see brokers going away anytime soon. Too valuable to the larger customers to do away with. IF you ever sat in my shoes, posted loads and fielded 100 calls on a lane only to find that 6 out of 10 callers are clownshows, you'll understand why. Plenty of great carriers out there but even with them, its hard for a customer rep at a produce customer to speak with 20 carriers per lane per day and they have 50 to move a day.
