Snackbar is chillin'....at Shaffer

Enjoy it...they say the next storm hitting the west coast might be one of those bomb cyclone systems.

 

Unless their is a miracle, I most likely won't be back to work until the 1st of November, if then. The wife's surgery went fine, and she came home yesterday, but their is a lot more pain than she expected, and rehab will take it's toll as well. And they won't release her to any kind of normal life until she can at least walk with a cane instead of a walker...and sit or stand up from furniture without using multiple 4-letter words.

 

Her mom had both (hip was a couple years before knee). She needed both knees done like my wife, but after the pain of the 1st one, she never had the 2nd one done...and she was tougher than my wife when it came to pain tolerance. I can only imagine what it feels like just by the way my wife is reacting because when she shows pain and uses the language she uses when it hurts...it has to be big time pain.
