Already spent 5K in repairs this month (Kennworth T660--year 2010). Now, I need a new radiator. FXXK. How much does it usually cost to replace it? I will get most likely after market one.
I already spent additional 10K+ in July/August/September. Soon I will get to 20K in repairs in such a short time.

How much time does it take to replace a radiator? And what's the usual cost?

Find a clean container you can drain 10-13 gallons into. Remove the old one.
Make a burping cap. Replace with a new radiator, put on the burping cap. Add fuild.
I have no idea how long it takes. But I would guess less than 4 hours. Assuming your draining into a 5 gallon bucket. And have to stop the drain to swap buckets. And using a old glass picture to replace the fluid. The burping cap is key thou.

Cost of radiator, 5 hours labor, coolant, hoses and clamps. Often easier with hood removed.

    Cost of business.

I had mine recored when the front end was apart for an unrelated issue.

Learn the ‘sensuous’ maintenance - like “Since you is “ in there.

    Radiator core or complete assembly.
I've had my radiator replaced in a day. Had one re-cored took 3 days. Independent shop.

All of a sudden you need a radiator? Is it leaking? Running hot? I’d guess about $1700. Start by calling the Dealer. Then check Americancoolingsoulutions.com. Other aftermarkets are out there. If it’s not leaking, maybe a thermostat, fan, waterpump? Maybe needs a good flushing, or fins are blocked by debris in them, or debris in cac fins, a/c condensor fins? Blocking airflow.

You're looking at roughly 3500 for everything installed. Lots of factors can affect the end cost though.

I thibk I paid about $1200 for an Active brand 4 rows replacement radiator for my T600 about 5 years ago. Of course now with Joe "I did that" everywhere it probably costs about 30% more these days (thanks Joe!)

I would suggest dunking it in a water tank to check for leaks before installing. My first one leaked and had to be swapped for another... I dunno what it cost to install. It was put in by a CAT house during an inframe I had them swap out the old one.

On my 2014 Volvo 670 it cost
2398.74 in 2019 from Volvo dealer. It took them one day in shop to finish.
