How many miles do you average per month? -
It depends. Right now I am helping Walmart dedicated. So I'm driving a bit more.
If I'm running recaps it doesn't feel like I drive as much.
Maybe about 3,000 miles a week, average? Close to what the OP gets. But I haven't been closely watching. I just know my pay is usually like 1,100-1,600 per week after deducts.Chinatown Thanks this. -
Website doesn't show how much experience is required. Do you know?

Your employer loves you. You’re his slave.
Don’t just look at pay rates.
I don’t make the greatest. No benefits. But I get the miles. Easy miles too. I often take home $2k a week. W2 ...It’s dry van.
I don’t have this carrot of high pay hanging in front of me. While at the same time. Killing myself sitting at shippers and receivers making nothing. In the middle of the night. Unable to sleep because I’m overtired.
Company treats me good. Which is important. No BS from administrators who have perverted their own job. Thus ruining you.
Most of the time. I’m able to go to sleep. Wake up when I feel like it. Which when you get older. It’s one of the luxuries of life.Last edited: Nov 2, 2021
D.Tibbitt and Anthony89119 Thank this. -
I agree with you. I run long haul solo in some of the best lanes in the industry. Average 2 pick ups/ deliveries per week. I usually run recaps. Nobody tells me when or how to run. I start my day between 0000-0300 usually shut down around noon, sometimes as late as 1400. Take 12-15 hour breaks. My company tells me exactly THREE THINGS..... Pick up load on X date and time ...... Deliver load on X Date and time. These are your fuel stops. That's it!! I run the show out here. To me..... The above things are worth their weight in gold. I also have a great home time policy. 1 1/2 days off for every 7 out. If I stay out for 30-35 days..... Get 7 days off..... Stay out for 12 weeks..... Get 18 days off. KEEP MY TRUCK! None of that 4 days maximum off in a row or clean out your truck bull$#!t!! I will make close to 70k this year working 43-45 weeks. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

You’re getting ripped off. Check out Poly Trucking (private fleet) if you want to stay OTR. They have a plant in Henderson.

Pride does a Salt lake city to Vegas run, 2 turns a week. If memory serves me, paid a guaranteed weekly.

Old Dominion is paying .74c and you could be home daily.
