What's the best way to start working towards being a FedEx package delivery driver? Would it be smart to get some delivery driver experience before applying or starting out doing dock work and work my way up to the package delivery job?

What class of license is needed to drive the step vans that FedEx uses to deliver packages? Do there box truck drivers need a CDL? Is it necessary to have a hazmat endorsement to drive either-or?

Contractors in my neck of the woods pay almost nothing.
they advertise 160 per day on indeed.
it’s honestly an embarrassment to pay so slow, and have the fedex name plastered on the truck. Jeff bezos pays more in my area and you drive around in a new ACed Mercedes van.
