Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Don't forget, the day isn't really about turkey.

 

They sell new leds lights for your truck that can change color. I seen guys run purple and green lights in the lot then go to amber and red once they hit the big road. Pretty cool technology now with lights

I can remember when they weren't (early '80s), then they were big time. Now, like you said, we see all kinds of colors again. Late 80's, I was coming up 95 thru the tarheel, pulled in to get weighed, rolled up, scalemaster says, "whats with the blue light?" What blue light? Points, that blue light. I had taken off the little amber cap on the top of the bumper pogo stick and replaced it with a blue one. He had a fit about that. Settle down there buckwheat, I got the amber one right here, I'll switch it out...

 

Well the argument got started before they got together so now they aint getting together. Lol.

 

Yeah, there are a ton of dumb crap on the books. Doesn't matter, it's all about making money and not about safety.

 

I was driving a 1988 K100 with blue lights in the back of the sleeper. Unhooked and started bobtailing home, just to get pulled over 3 miles from home. I had forgotten to turn the blue lights off from where I undone the glad hands, he acted like it was a sin….
