My miles per run are all over the place.
What I’ve learnrd is the system will issue me crappy loads because they have the least amount of empty miles.
Unloaded at 0800 with 9 hrs on clock
    D/H 22 miles for a 1500 P/U
    Deliver 320 miles away
    Mmmmmmm NO!
    Next PP…..
    D/H 140 miles ,p/u at ASAP,deliver 690 miles away

    Mmmmmm OK!

So stopped at Lincoln. Nice big new parking lot open. Drivers lounge is down stairs. Company store space off the lounge but still empty. Men’s room has two showers and a single commode. Hopefully I’m missing something.

I was missing something, upstairs there is another bathroom with more showers and a couple of toilets. Also a laundry room with three washers (but two out of order) and three dryers. A couple of (I assume) orientation rooms, a workout room that appears to still be empty and fleet offices.

    O.Henry Thanks this.

They were gonna buy one from McD's, but it kept breaking down, so they decided not too. :D

They would probably set up a little donation box for an ice cream machine and have the drivers pay for it. The Walmart terminal in Mankato did that last year for another freezer in the drivers lounge. Took them just 2 weeks to get the $900 for it.

If you happen to get your DOT physical done early make sure your terminal sends Lincoln a signed copy immediately. Otherwise you can find you have been put out of service. No good deed goes unpunished.
