I was down that way today around that same time at Carlisle. Had my phone been cooperating and I'd have known I'd have bought your dinner.

My phone decided it didn't want to be connected to the network any more. Couldn't do anything with it. Luckily knew where I was going and how to get there. Also kept them yahoo's off my back trying to sell me insurance for my new venture so it wasn't all bad lolsinglescrewshaker, Lostkeys, DeereRunner97 and 8 others Thank this.

Well i may have messed up. I know where there is a 99 kw w900 with a bad motor. Its had a lot of work done to it but spun a rod bearing. Lots of parts that go with it also.

The truck definitely has a little more power. A lot of smaller hills that we used to end up in 7H at the top, we're now only dropping to 8L. We don't run the engine over 75%, so she could probably top them without downshifting if we let her run. She also seems to be a little less sensitive to wind resistance.
The throttle is more responsive, with smoother acceleration. It's a lot easier to pick up a little road speed when passing, which is very nice compared to how sluggish she used to be.
We were averaging 7.2 mpg on light weight cross country loads. We're at 7.9 since flashing the tune. That’s from OH to SoCal, up to Sac, back to SoCal to NC, and now we're headed back to CA.
So far, I'd say it's worth every penny. Not just for the tuner aspect. All the additional information it gives from reading all the sensors is really valuable, especially with an emissions truck.D.Tibbitt, singlescrewshaker, Lostkeys and 11 others Thank this.
