I not a NASCAR race fan but this looks really fun.

 

There is this one down in Portland at PIR. If you successfully complete the training class you earn an SCCA rookie card. You go go amateur race, just got to put on a florescent orange license plate until you have proven yourself.

I got my rookie card at Laguna Seca driving a Formula Ford. Then played with my street/commuter car at sears point. with the NASA folks.

Bob Evans used to keep his boat down here on the Chesapeake close to where I live. He was easy to spot on the water. His boat was named "Sausage Man". Lol.

 

I've raised millions of pounds of chickens over the years and I love some fried chicken.

 

Ohhhh snap. Correction. It was Jimmy Dean not Bob Evans. Got my sausage tycoons confused.

Cool.
I love watching racing.
But even better is being on the track.
Where I live we have a small oval track, it is boring.
We do have a 1/4 mile drag strip to, but after 30 passes I was bored of it.
I like a twisty course.

 

BC had a series of massive storms, and an enormous amount of flooding. It destroyed many highways, making it harder to deliver goods, and with only so many trucks, they cannot keep up, the flooding also destroyed many farms, and killed hundreds of thousands of animals, from chickens to cows.
The devastation was overwhelming!

 

Will try it, the next time I get near one.
