I’m surprised because after observing punkins in the wild I had convinced myself that the standards were not that tough there.

    Well, honestly, they are.
I've been driving for nearly 10 years and never had an accident, (the road kind, but I have tore up a couple of things in parking lots), or a ticket. And they allow you 15 demerits on your road test. I got 15 and passed. Mostly subjective stuff......."Doesn't check mirrors often enough......" kinda stuff.
No, Dale. They're really strict about a lot of stuff, but they will work with you if you're willing to work with them.
Dude #3 had an opportunity to stay in Atlanta, in a fairly decent hotel room by himself, fed twice a day, and $80 a day training pay, and have a pretty decent job when it was all over, but he chose to be a looser and go back to Florida......where the Looser Tribe flourish.

I don't want the carnage. I want a new truck Everytime I call, they aren't even taking orders. At least for volvo or FL. The Volvo salesman in rural Missouri, said that clients with wrecked trucks or ones that catch on fire can't get them replaced.

actually, I kinda feel sorry for the dude. He was a pretty nice guy.
I just will never understand why people in general won't take offers of a better life.
It's really confusing to a 61 year old man.
Back in the day, I would have jumped at the chance.
Seems like a lot of younger people just don't give a s.

New guy starts and on the second week hes late 3 days in a row. 4th day didnt show up. Who knows if he will even come back. Word is they are hiring to many people hoping they get enough to stay to that will work. I dont understand why people just wont work anymore. Its not like its hard or anything.

We have a long standing 50/50 theory.

50% of new hires stay and 50% of those won't be worth a ship.

He should’ve been told not to bother coming back after the second time being late. That would tell me all I need to know.

Don't run through any railroad crossings in a placarded vehicle without stopping, either.......
