Carrier411 negative freight guard report

When a broker files a FG report, an email is sent to the carrier email address that was used to establish their company. Anyone who is a real carrier with access to that email can dispute any info filed under a FG, in writing, that is posted below what the broker said about the company. So yes you can dispute it.

Lawyer. Sue the broker. That #### will disappear so fast, your head will spin. They would need proof that what they said was true, or they would face a judgement.

 

Agreed, have an attorney send a letter, it will go away pretty quickly if there is nothing behind it. Hence why you will rarely see my company ever write a FG report. Unless its something worthy. Like punching someone at the shipper, or stealing a trailer where we have documents to prove it. Most normal folks arent out here trying to stroke everyone for every little thing. ####e happens, this is trucking after all. Adding a FG for being 2 hours late, even when there was a wildfire on the highway, is a load of BS if you ask me. That kind of FG would not stop me from working with a carrier. I laugh at that.

 

Perhaps, OOIDA could become interested about that site that allows slander.

 

Avrakotos. I am also trying to find a way to dispute a freight guard report a silly report but ruins our reputation and some brokers deny loads. The report was for canceling a load 1 hour after booking because the broker miss-represented it during booking. Tried to have them take it down with no luck. Called 411 they blocked my number. Any suggestions?

 

You could message me your MC# and i can look at it and give you my opinion if you would like. Honestly that kind of FG wouldnt stop me and most brokers i know from working with a carrier, unless its habitual. It can be frustrating when a carrier and/or a broker falls out on one another for whatever reason. There are however a lot of moving parts in this business and things do happen.

Ive never called carrier 411 before so i dont know how they operate. Maybe call the broker that posted it and calmly and professionally ask them to take it down and explain its hurting your business. Most normal sensible people aren't out here trying to ruin someone for little to no reason and the initial anger has probably died down by now. I have never FG'ed anyone for falling out on me, yelled a whole bunch at the BS fallouts but never a FG, i just mark it internally and move on..

 

Hello, my name is Simon Brokor he sent me carrier agreement when I checked he had 0 factory credit and I told him can’t do agreement with him and he never sent me ratcon, agreement and he put FREIGHTGUARD on my AMC next day other brothers stopped give me load so how came some with ####ed- up credit make me ####ed -up

 

Start calling some of these ambulance chasing lawyers. Someone will listen. You have a right to defend yourself against all claims. The fact that anyone has lost business because of Carrier411 without being able to dispute the claim is enough for a lawsuit.

 

I learned a long time ago, tell them you will take legal action and follow through on it asap. It is only about $90 dollars to file one in our county. Learn how to fill out the paperwork. The clerk should help you. I always set the trial date pretty far out, that way their attorney might settle it. After it is filed and clerk stamped. I email them a copy and ask for their attorney information.

If your a sole proprietor, you can represent your self in the case.
If your INC or LLC, you will need an attorney, but dont get one just yet. We were INC, so I would just show up for the court date. When the case is called, their attorney will be present. Then ask for a continuance, so our attorney would be present. Judge sets a new date. Then their attorney will speak to you about the case. You have to tell him what happen. 90% of the time, he will be more than happy to reach an agreement and make you happy. Remember at this point, you have spent some time and $100. They have spent a few $1000 as of now and want this gone.

Also forgot, the lawsuit shows on their credit report, until it is settled or dismissed.

In these cases, I would go after the broker and carrier 411.

I have done this also for non payment of our invoice. Maybe we were late due to a break down or HOS, but we did deliver and clean B/L. I would explain what happen to the Judge. Then the Judge would ask their attorney, did you client get paid with no issues? (Yes sir they were paid in full)
Judge, pay the man, case dismissed.

 

I never experienced anything from them but I wish this 411 site were under some class action law suit. Looks like a place of ongoing defamation with impunity.
At least they should allow carriers to sign in to read what they frivolously say about them. Evidently, that site may affect someone's business more than some google reviews, where you can always respond.
