I’m sitting here this evening at a loves. I’ve had two prime drivers within three minutes hit my mirror with their tail swing out trying to cut through parking spaces. I’m parked where they have back-to-back parking in the space next to me is open. I don’t know why drivers keep cutting through there. Luckily there was really no damage to my mirror because it bent it forward. no deep scratches. The second prime driver got a big earful for me. They come whipping through, and they think because their inside curve is clearing the truck on their left they can just make that turn as wide as they want. Bunch of idiots out there.
Flat Earth Trucker, okiedokie, JoeyJunk and 5 others Thank this. -
They seem to like taking your mirror with them too.JoeyJunk, D.Tibbitt and Cattleman84 Thank this.

Fixed that for you. I wonder if some of these drivers even know the rear tandems move.

Yup i got hit at a fuel island one time after i pulled up to go take a leak and get my recipt. Guy claimed "he didnt feel it". Another driver said he had a trailer tire up ontop of my steer tire nearly rolling his trailer. This is back when i was still company.
Rideandrepair and JoeyJunk Thank this. -
I wonder how hard it would be to wire in sensors in the front end that would sound the air horn when pressure is applied AND the brakes are set at the same time.
JoeyJunk Thanks this. -
Its a pity we don't get to see another photo of the driver reacting once he or she saw the damage, oh and another photo of the license plates of the truck that did it so it can be forwarded to those that were on the receiving end of that fender bender. Hmmm another good reason why its great to have camera's on board vehicles.JoeyJunk Thanks this.

Was it the DOT that hit your rig? Looks as if the idiot was trying to do a U to take a shortcut to the exit. They should pull his license.
-
Tandems? Is that a new brand of flip flop?
-
Theoretically until that ONE creatively inept "driver" crushes those "guide wheels" then rolls away.
