Hey Guys, I've been reading through this forum for a while now and there are lots of informative discussions!
Being new to the industry (less than 2 years), I am trying to get a better understanding of wait times and amenities at drop-off facilities. It seems like there are wild swings in what to expect.
I'm looking for input on how folks out there handle dealing with facilities?
Resources/tricks / stories, all are helpful.

Thank you and stay safe out there!

    austinmike and tscottme Thank this.

What's a drop off facility?. Only thing I can think of is for rental cars...or Blockbuster videos.

    Ha!
I wish that's what I was referring to - more interested in learning how others get info on what's available at a new receivers facility though.

Expect nothing (the norm), be pleasantly surprised if there’s a semi clean smelling porta john (occasionally), and be elated as if you won the lottery if they have a lounge (rare).

Hello @wildbill_az Search Google Maps for both the company name and the address you were given for that company. Sometimes the company changes names and sometimes the Company address is different from the name/address you were given. When you search on Maps.google.com gives you the customer, look for the "Reviews" button on the page and read through the reviews to see what to expect. Some companies have zero reviews and many companies have some reviews. Read the reviews. I found someone will often leave a review explaining the process of getting into the facility, or which entrance to use, or the correct street address, or correct phone number, and the complicated procedure some customers require.

One trick I used was to"drop a pin", buy zooming in to the driveway and holding your fingertip right on that driveway, google will leave a red marker and near that marker is the exact latitude and longitude coordinates. I type those coordinates into my GPS and then tell my GPS to take me to those coordinates rather than the street address. Many customers the street address is not for trucks, it's the front door where the Receptionists works or walk-in visitors enter the business.

If you go to a business without a review, always leave a review. Try to help the next driver and leave something useful.
