Hi everyone
I just graduated from college and recently got my CDL, and I plan on going straight into being an owner op. I know the risks, but have family and friends in the industry, and I have a pretty good understanding/knowledge with what to expect. I'm 22 years old in California. Does anyone have any recommendations for insurance companies that will cover me, and what type of yearly premium to possibly expect? Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Many new startups go with Progressive.

That's pretty much all I've been hearing from lots of people. I know they're most likely going to be one of the very little companies that will insure me. Thanks!blairandgretchen Thanks this.

I went with Crawford Phillips in OKC - underwriters are Great West, and saved a bunch - but I’m in a different situation and it’s just physical damage on 3 units.
@zmster2033 and @staceydude did just like you and I believe Progressive was the option until established.
I interviewed @zmster2033 on how he started - it’s on my boob tube channel if you care to learn how he got along.cke and FiveRiversFreightlinesLLC Thank this. -
I also went with Progressive as a new start up.
Didn't get bent over too bad on the premium.. Having other policies with them and a spotless driving record helped as well.cke and FiveRiversFreightlinesLLC Thank this. -
