From Worcester,MA to Hartford,CT via Peter Pan then Hartford to NYC via Greyhound then NYC to Easton,PA also with Greyhound, when WE’s terminal was in Nazareth at the time. When I quit it was the Greyhound from Nashville to Worcester, with multiple stops.
Good times!lol -
To be sent with a trainer whether new w/license or refresher...1 year $2,500 contract. Their version of a refresher is to ride with a "trainer" for 3 - 4 weeks. In other words.....F that! Do your research on companies prior. Also, a company that doesn't offer a rental car instead of crackhound...are the sorrier companies to avoid!

Heartland Express lol

I did 2015 refresher with WX. It was $2400 or $2500 and they took off $210-ish off that refresher for every 30 days.(which ends up being 12 months/1 year)

recruiters will say anything they are like car saleman they selling you to company some will lie or some will just plain not tell you anything unless asked specifically its funny even the contracts when buying cars will say anything the saleman said is false unless its written on the contract to those affects.

I'm surprised to learn that there are still companies screwing people on the way in by putting them on a bus. We used to get everyone a one-way rental car, but with recent shortages, we're flying most in, picking them up from the airport, and *still* paying them mileage pay from their hometown.
A bus ticket is the very first red flag being waved by a carrier.Geekonthestreet, bzinger and Lonesome Thank this. -

That's ridiculous... I never have and never would work for a company in this or any other industry that expected me, a new hire, to pick up the tab for the costs of orientation, whether I stayed 1 year or 1 week
Lonesome Thanks this. -
and $2500 for what? a bus ride and a few nights in some fleabag hotel?
Seems the only way some of these companies can keep drivers around is by holding them financially hostage
