    Doubtful on that, define please...
It requires very little, no more than you punch in for payment of something online. (Technically needs carrier info, dot, mc, truck # and name, but thats no more than a fleet card of any kind requires)

Mudflap is super simple and free. I used it for about 6 months straight it was the best option for my area in the Midwest. There’s no caveat, nothing like only showing certain locations or whatever, it just loads everything Mudflap eligible in a radius on a map and shows you. Lots are 20 cents, but many others are over 20 cents. Just depends.

I enjoy because I’m able to pay using my 2% cash back credit card. So for example if I’m saving 30 cents on Mudflap and paying 4.50 a gallon, I also get 2% cash back on my payment method so that’s an additional 9 cents per gallon. With the sky high fuel that’s really added up lately.

It’s free and user friendly, have him try. Also there’s a referral method so make sure you guys use that.

I couldn’t help it, I didn’t want to do this Saturday run, it’s short though, Had to DH almost 180 miles South, to go South...
They paid what I asked, I think I undercut myself...

Has anyone had any issues with buying bad fuel at any of these smaller truck stops when using Mudflap? Just wondering if the risk is worth the discount.

What smaller truck stops? Just because it's not the heart or hook doesn't mean its not high-volume or good fuel. Diesel also has a longer shelf life than gasoline.

The Kwik Trip TS location down the street from me takes it, along with all the major fuel cards.

I remember someone posting about buying fuel with the Mudflap app from a station in Dundalk MD. I drive by the station on a fairly regular basis and always thought it looked quite run down and small, only room for 2 trucks at a time and I seldom saw any trucks getting fuel there. Makes you wonder how good their tank maintenance is.

I realize theirs always a chance of getting bad fuel at any location even high volume truck stops. We are a very small private fleet and fuel the majority of the time from our bulk tank in the yard. We only buy fuel on the road when we do overnight runs so just trying to figure out if it’s worth trying out Mudflap. I could see one truck down due to bad fuel wiping out several months of cost savings from using the app.

Just download the app and set it up to see what stations in the area you would be refueling are currently available and what discounts they offer. Decide from there.
