Hi, I'm the warehouse manager at the Northern Virginia Food Rescue here in Prince William County Virginia. We are right off of 66 and not far from 395. I wanted to reach out to all of you to make a connection that if you have a truck of food that has been rejected by a receiver, we want to help you offload your truck. We recently heard from a driver that you all are responsible for offloading that rejected product. We want to help when and where we can.

Contact some of the large refrigerated trucking companies. Give them your details. That way they can give that to the driver. If part of a load is rejected.

The only issue with rejected loads is the warehouse for health reasons requires a product to a certain temp, by taking produce that has been rejected you also assume a big risk if any of it is used for human consumption, and they were to get sick as a result, which is why most charities will not accept rejected loads, if is however being used for animal consumption you should be fine.

Give our (Tyson) main office a call. We donate overage to charity whenever we can.
