    There are laws that protect the donors or there would be no food banks , all donated food is consumed with no liability.

    Yes, I do agree! If a refrigerated truck has food that has been rejected just based on the looks of what that warehouse is receiving it would be still okay for human consumption. We also work with local farmers and they pick up the food not fit for human consumption and take it to feed their animals. We have some pretty happy pigs in our area these days lol
