    Exactly…..
I started driving in 1986 and it has totally changed into a swamp of low IQ , low self esteem , just above working the fryer at McDonald’s industry. Truck stops look like 3rd world refugee camps with more pouring in by the second . There’s no criteria for who these companies hire. I guess I have myself to blame too. I literally backed two trucks into loading docks for 2 drivers who literally could not drive and barely speak English in the last 2 weeks. You could land planes in these loading areas they were so big. One was a Western Express truck with the drivers fender smashed up and taped up with a Somalian driver who literally didn’t know which way to turn the wheel backing up. I called up Western Express and cursed them out for being so desperate to put ##### in seats they would send someone out that unqualified. Truly a disgrace.
It’s only going to get worse , just wait till the current disgrace in the White House gives all the illegals streaming across the Southern Border by the millions CDL training and licenses because of the “ national driver shortage” . All the big mega carriers will be dancing in their cubicles with their flood of new meat to put in their seats to further destroy this industry.

Spot on, pal, I'm curious as to what Western Express had to say. Probably couldn't understand them either,,:biggrin_25513: and btw, McDonalds is paying upwards of $15/hr. for that fryer job.

If I'm not mistaken, you are referring to Jimmy Hoffa.

God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.!

The absolute sheer driving force of our national economy - without truck drivers, our entire national economy would come to an absolute standstill - if not outright be dead.

Over the mountains, through the woods, into the valleys, coast to coast, from sea to shining sea - truck drivers can and do go anywhere and everywhere, every day, every night, all year round.

When I called Western Express They acted like it was no big deal. Exact words were
    “ What truck number ? I’ll let safety know…..”
    Could not care less…
