Just to clarify, the cdl school can give you work for a year but then without legal papers no one would hire you?

 

Let me be CRYSTAL CLEAR. Company sponsored training is a way to get a US CDL if you already have the right to live and work in the US. It is not an end run around a green card. They will not train you or let you drive for them if you do not have the right to live and work in the US.

No reputable company will hire you to drive a truck without I-9 documentation (the form the government requires employees to fill out when they start a job proving they have the right to live and work in the US). Less reputable companies will let you call yourself a contractor (not an employee) and let you drive for them without filling out an I-9 form. These companies will not train you to get a US CDL.

 

Yeah just break the law and commit fraud. Great idea. Whole country becoming lawless
