Roehl Transport will pay you $616.00 weekly to attend their cdl school. After graduation, you start receiving driver pay.
This is the real deal; my neighbor went through the program.
Ask for refrigerated division. Florida is a good location for refrigerated trucking.

I’m probably gonna sound like a dick here.
In 2006 $, I saved $3,500 to put my girlfriend with 2 kids through CDL school.
We teamed for 10 years.
I had my CDL for 1.5 years at the time.
I’m not discounting the fact you work hard now - I’m just telling you I made it work without a Go Fund Me page, and you can do it too.
Good luck.mitmaks, Dave_in_AZ, Lennythedriver and 21 others Thank this. -
If a roofer in Florida can't
afford to pay for his own CDL, well, GTFOH. My bluntness apologizes.mitmaks, WildTiger1990, Siinman and 13 others Thank this. -
The forum staff typically don't like seeing links to gofundme pages. Just a friendly FYI.

You’ll have to be out of work to take the classes since they’re usually 8-5, and a roofer probably doesn’t work at night. You might as well get flown out to a mega carrier like Schneider or whoever advertises in your area on Indeed.com and get your CDL at one of their campuses. It’s free.
JoeyJunk and Another Canadian driver Thank this. -
I've never seen a CDL school that won't point you toward a place that will make a school loan so you can attend. In FL, when I lived there your options were to attend a for-profit CDL school or a Community College. The CDL school had classes starting every Monday. The Community Colleges had a long waiting list. You had to decide if you wanted to start soon and pay alot, or start months from now and not pay much. Don't forget to calculate your living expenses between now and your first paycheck in trucking.
