You don’t have a truck not any experience in the trucking industry , but bought an old trailer with no plan on how to make
Money with it ?
why not buy a pizza oven or dentist chairs ?
best way to profit is to get the trailer road ready and DOT annual inspection and sell
It .
If You bought it cheap enough you should be able to make some Money .

I do mostly contract industrial hauling, same as a lot of the people I work with. A good portion of it involves ports or shipper schedules. We all find ourselves up against getting stuff off the dock while you have a a crew of stevedores and a machine booked, or before demurrage starts. Or get it on trucks and out of your customers yard to their I use them for that a bit myself, but a lot of other people with the same headaches know those trailers are here. I don’t advertise them and they’re out more than not.Keepforgettingmypassword Thanks this.

How much did you pay?
Did you pull it first?
What does it need to be road worthy?Keepforgettingmypassword Thanks this. -
i paid around 8k for it. lol i dont even have a CDL. I am told its road worthy but still need it to be looked at (dont mind putting more money into it to get it going). Just need a point in the right direction on where to start.Keepforgettingmypassword and blairandgretchen Thank this.

Not sure what you mean by jobs?
Aside from renting it out there's really nothing you can do with a trailer by itself. People who rent equipment usually run it into the ground too.Keepforgettingmypassword Thanks this. -
Not to be mean or anything but there is no "finding jobs for a regular ole van" get rid of it. You can probably get your 8k back out of it if not a tad more if it's not shot.
If you had a truck that's one thing, you could find power only loads but you literally have a trailer and nothing else. Short of renting it out for 400$ a month you have zilchKeepforgettingmypassword and AModelCat Thank this. -
You have a 20 year old storage container
