If you go to www.jbscarriers.com and look at their dedicated fleets and pay it will say guarantee 1325 a week. What it does not say is if it is a holiday week your pay is less than that. You have to work on that holiday to get that plus 150 for holiday. Just wanted to share this cause they do not have it on their web page.

Local to my area....JBS in Hyrum, Utah. Was told by many to steer clear of 'em. Mainly a foreign ran company now. Told they used to be pretty good, but that's been quite some years now.

JBS Carriers is a division of JBS USA.
JBS USA Holdings, Inc. is an American food processing company and a wholly owned subsidiary of the Brazilian company JBS S.A. The subsidiary was created when JBS entered the U.S. market in 2007 with its purchase of Swift & Company. JBS specializes in Wagyu Beef, the only certified Japanese Cattle distributor on the entire eastern U.S. seaboardrocknroll81, tscottme, bzinger and 1 other person Thank this. -
That's the catch with most "Guaranteed Pay" jobs: There are almost always hoops to jump through to qualify for the guaranteed pay, usually involving minimum hours/days available, working nights/holidays/weekends/etc., or something else that is totally unexpected when first coming through the door.kuzima93, tscottme, bzinger and 1 other person Thank this.

1325 take home ain't nothing?! The #### you say! That's good money. Even if that's gross, it's still enough to make a living. It ain't what you make but how you spend.Turtlelegs Thanks this.

10% inflation. Have you seen the cost of housing?
You are selling yourself short if you think $1300 gross is a 'good living'.bzinger Thanks this. -
Or you’re living beyond your means if you can’t make $1300 work!

My wife and I pay $1180 for our mortgage (taxes included)-and we live in Massachusetts! And that’s for a 2 bedroom,1 and 1 1/2 bathroom condo!
Of course sometimes it’s all about location, location, location!Last edited: May 24, 2022

When did "good living" ever exist? Lol. I only said you can make a "living" on that. Perhaps I should rephrase that.....some of us can make a living on that.

I agree. In Memphis, I'm still renting. $883 for 3 BR 2 Bath. It ain't luxury living, but it's what I can afford. Houses can be very cheap there. To be fair, some may not be the most desirable of neighborhoods. For one in a decent to good neighborhood, you can find 1100-1300 dollar mortgages. I think it depends on what you prioritize. My wife likes to get out and "do stuff." If she wants to do activities, then you have sacrifice a little bit of "luxury living" so to speak. Folks gotta realize that trucking is good money, but it ain't getting many people rich. Therefore, most of us can't have everything. Long as my bills are paid, I'm good.motocross25 and mjd4277 Thank this.
