    Exactly.

I've been lucky enough to have never been pulled over or inspected. I think I've only ever had to pull into a scale twice in my life.

Tires are cheap compared to all the damage blowouts can cause. Especially on steers. Tell the boss man to quit being a cheapskate. Tires are what keep u making money

Tread design in the pics look like a wide base tire. Like a 425.

$800 each or so depending on brand.

$25,000 for a new hood if those tires blow or some serious down time at the body shop getting everything fibreglassed back together and painted.

Or a truck upside down in the ditch....

U think that's oos ? I'm not sure on the rules for cracking like that and I don't think a dot man would look close enough, but who knows.. I definitely would've changed those tires awhile ago on my truck. I'm more concerned with a blowout taking out fenders and hood and/or getting in a wreck with a steer blowout.

Yeah no kidding I don't run my steers under 6/32 . To much risk no reward in my opinion.

Those pics remind me of week old drive tires on a turned up Dick Simon truck.
