I will have to call DMV to get clarification. The wording on the site makes no sense to me. I have yet been told that ELDT is needed to get endorsements added to an existing CDL.

eldt.com is only $25 for the online hazmat course. Cheapest I've seen.

It gives me something to do when shut down. And another way to get the info in my head. -
Last guy I knew who got his hazmat with and already had his cdl did his training online for 25 bucks. He passed and isn’t very smart. Not to tough I would guess

What is the website for haz mat course
tscottme Thanks this. -
Look for the box that says Training Type, slick it and scroll down to HazMat Theory, check the box and click on DONE.
Then click the magnifying glass icon on the right side of the screen and all ELDT providers for HazMat are listed.
Under Training Locations is a tab marked Online, click it for a list and web sites for the online ELDT HazMat training providers. You may need to shop for the best price or whatever is important to you. I suspect the training at any provider is good enough to satisfy the FMCSA. -
You got to get on your knees and kiss up to the DOT Officer....say please don't inspect my trailer....

I haven't been here in a while. I have had Hazmat endorsement in the past, but when I moved back to SC, I didn't spend the money to renew it. It doesn't move with you when you change your state residence. I had to take a written test and pay some money when I renewed Hazmat when I moved to New York State, and I was good to go. Now, I'm hearing about this ELDT thing. Am I exempt from that? Do I just take the written test again and pay the money again? I've only renewed Hazmat once before, and that was when I moved to New York in 2018.
