I just did Bridgestone 213. Supposed to be the most fuel efficient and last longer than previous generation. I paid $1297 for tires. $80 for mount and disposal of previous, and $200 for centramatica (Amazon). Keep in mind my tires are 11R24.5 so would be much cheaper with lopro 22.5
Rideandrepair and mitmaks Thank this. -
Just being honest, get whatever top tier brand you can get the best price on. None of them last forever, and good service is worth more than any brand name. I run Goodyears for that reason. There are better tires on the market, but I've always gotten top notch service and competitive pricing from Goodyear CTSS (company owned) stores, especially my local dealer in Doraville GA.

Another vote for 591’s. IMO Bridgestone has always been the best steer. I’m sure Michelin’s are great. I’ve been told they’re the only tire that lasts on Volvo’s, I’ve always ran Bridgestone, till they bought Firestone. First 590’s now 591’s same tire. Bridgestone design. Best value. I’ve had a set of each Yokos. The premium steer wasn’t bad, the cheaper one ( 517 maybe? ) was awful. Steering was too squirrelly.

I wouldn't take another Bridgestone 284 if they were $50 each. Mine has been throwing chunks since the day I got them. They threw so many chunks that the entire truck shakes at the wrong speeds. Can't wait to buy new ones, but as long as these are legal, they stay.
Dale thompson, mitmaks and Rideandrepair Thank this. -
Had Bridgestone 283a and they started chunking pieces of tread. I've replaced them at first truck stop. Didn't want steer blowout
Rideandrepair Thanks this.
