I know one thing when the guy driving the lead car couldn’t make up his mind if he wanted to go through intersections or stop, I picked smoking back up pretty quickly at the first stop lmao trying to light a cigarette with wind and ac blowing my lighter out, good buddy of mine just laughing at me

 

1099 you pay your own taxes it's not taken out.

 

1099 means they are trying to call you an independent contractor and do not deduct taxes and such. That also means they don't pay the match on the taxes and deductions that you are used to. You will need to make payments to federal and state agencies every 3 months of about 25% of your total pay to stay legal. there are court cases going on pretty much continuously somewhere stating 1099 drivers are not independent and therefore are employees and and the company is wrong.

 

1099 means the place sucks.

 

Unless you’re doing flatbed at a place that’s all about safety with ridiculous rules and you have to use a tarping machine

I can only hope that that plant is something that can be removed from your yard and your (and especially her) life can return to normal or at least as normal as can be with rugrats running your life.

Please note that I am Canadian but have friends who have fallen into the 1099 trap. My knowledge is not complete but that is the information I have gathered over the years.

 

Shouldn’t be too bad at all luckily. Hopefully it’s a small plant that can be easily eradicated
