Why cherry-pick the info that supports your opinion? Why not show the rest of the picture, where the right turn lane for trucks at that intersection dumps you into the center lane leaving plenty of room to clear the curb? It’s not a right lane to right lane turn.

Same with me. Unless i know for sure i can make it. Theres plenty of double turn lanes where u need to split both to cut off left lane traffic in order to make the turn without taking out a curb...

From the looks of the picture on my phone if a truck makes a right turn into the middle lane they are risking having another vehicle in the side of their rig. I am not saying which lane they should be in without looking at the turn in person, but I guarantee enough turns will cause this even if solid lines were more clearly marking which lane to stay in to complete the turn.

From this view it looks like they used the typical roundabout wide curve to accommodate trucks in the right lane for extra added safety.

Follow the dotted line. Left lane goes to the far left, right lane goes into the middle lane. If they didn’t want the right lane going to the middle they wouldn’t send the left lane to the far left. Also a little south of the intersection the right lane is a right turn lane. So the whole intersection is wider than normal and doesn’t really prove the point you were trying to make by posting a pic of the sign.

A little south of the intersection the right lane becomes a right turn lane. He posted a pic of signage that supports his opinion except the intersection is question has a lot more room than your typical intersection. When I was pulling flatbed we were down around Meridian ID a lot and as soon as I saw his pic I knew right where he was.

I see it and you see it. But we both know a good percentage of the other drivers won’t see it. That’s my only point and I tend to think ahead those people not paying attention.

Schneider?! You're delusional. I didn't post to argue. Every turn is different. Too many variables. The only thing that matters is keeping the combination in it's own lane as much as possible. Anything outside that is debatable unless a traffic control device makes it specifically clear what lane the truck is to use.

Agreed. And I can say that 100% of the time that I’ve been at that intersection I’ve been in the left right turn lane because I was going to turn left onto Overland Dr and there was no way I was going to fight cars to move over in the space of a block.
