Alrighty Ladies and Gentlemen, I need some advice. I bought a truck. Yaaay good for me… it’s a 94 FLD with a cat that was converted back to an manual fuel pump.. there is NO hooking an eld to it.. there is nooo ECM!!!! Ok so now that’s out of the way. I am having trouble now finding a carrier to lease onto. I had three lined up and they all backed out with in the last few months. All three state their insurance won’t allowed pre elog trucks. So I started calling around.. seems like most carriers have made this transition. Also a lot of carriers that use to accept no longer will. They preelog owners they have are grandfathered in. My question is anyone know of decent preelog carrier??
Who I have spoke to already: united van lines, jb hunt, ats, bay and bay, Mercer, landstar(was told it’s only certain offices that will.. which ones?)

More than likely a PEEC engine which was just a mechanical pump that was electronically controlled. Not sure it even had an ECM to begin with.

A friend of mine has had several pre eld trucks leased to eastern express. One was even converted to pre eld while it was with them. He pulls flatbed mostly over length pipe and beams and occasionally rents my rgn for some bigger loads.
