Some of us have not read the CDL manuals for all 50 states. Some of us have not seen a CDL manual for 30+ years. Make your turn however works best for you and the general public.

Some days I would wait for the car to move. Some days I would make that turn at full speed taking every inch of room I could find and get my bumper as close to that car as possible without even making eye contact with the driver. I've been flipped off more than a few times for various reasons. Couldn't Care less

I like your grammar and word choice. I like how you say you "couldn't care less" instead of saying you could care less. If you could care less, you are not totally indifferent to it. -
Stop and wait and let the car go.
You know they got places to be, jeez.

I've bullied my way through a lot of intersections. I'm bigger and more important. Just kidding, sort of.
But I figure it's a lot safer for me to bully my way past and intersection than to sit in the middle of the road. Nobody pays attention to anything anymore. Is it really that big of an inconvenience for a car to put it in reverse and back up 5 feet?
But I've never been out of the midwestexpedite_it Thanks this. -
so here's a question for you expedite_it. I live on a 2 lane county blacktop. Traffic is light to non existent. This is the driveway to my house, it's very narrow. If I'm heading north and want to go home I can't make the turn by button hooking or jug handling. I can only make the turn by being completely on the west shoulder.
Should I move?
Go a mile down the road and turn around in an uncontrolled intersection in the dark?
Drive around the section to come in heading south?
Or just turn in the driveway like I have 196 times? -
wow 88 posts and still a lot of wrong info.
You are entering into it, you have to wait to clear the intersection so be it.
You either have to wait, or go down the road, turn around and make a left or find an alternate route if she would not move.
It isn't her problem, it is yours, and that is the rub.
