Why do you brokers use Carrier 411 for carrier data when you can get it for free directly from the FMCSA? Unlike Carrier 411, which is often wrong and/or outdated Safer has everything that's as up to date as you could possibly get.

Double/triple broker is legal, on commodity loads.
they gotta get that ground up chicken meat and bone moved, one can’t get it hauled, he will call another broker and charge say, $1-2/ton some $4-5/ton at 26 tons they take it off the top, then other broker takes his cut.

Because safer doesn't match up phone numbers, address's, e-mail's, to a related company(s)

Phone numbers and addresses are certainly available on Safer.

Not related ones. 411 will give every company with the same address, phone, email, name tied to a company

Interesting. Too bad it's not accurate. I've had several brokers over the last couple years claim erroneous things about my MC. Trying to tell me what my address or phone number is or the best one yet that claimed my MC was not active. Seems like a poor business decision to use a third party for data that's readily available for free and most importantly is as current as possible.

The related stuff is not readily available. Comments are always taken knowing there are two sides. Safer has also showed MC#'s as not active(411 pulls that info daily from safer) when it is. Just in the last few weeks there were quite a few like that.

Oh, I could care less about the comments/complaints aspects of the service. I'm more concerned about the incorrect data they routinely supply their customers which in turn affects me. As I mentioned above, 411 has routinely pulled incorrect data on me. The worst yet was claiming my MC was not active when it was and it was showing active on Safer. How did you confirm that an MC was active after Safer reported it inactive?

Safer usually fixes the problem in just a few hours if they screwed up.

Because believe it or not, even the government screws up now and then. LOL

At 30 days safer will show a pending insurance revocation if there is a cancelation date for it.

NO IT IS NOT LEGAL. YOU CANT TAKE MY LOAD ACTING LIKE A CARRIER WITH A CARRIER MC# AND THE REBROKER IT THRU A BROKERAGE TO A 2ND CARRIER. GTFOH
