So....the (non EZ Pass) toll on I-476 from Scranton to Allentown is $95 for 55 miles. Looking at I-380 south to I-80 east to RT 33 south. I-380 takes me literally over the summit of Mt. Pocono. Doesn't sound that appealing. I'll be 80,000 lbs +. Opinions?

I sure wouldn't pay 95$ to run 476 . It has a good long uphill on that route as well, going over the same ridge as Pocono.

Take 33 #### the toll road. I'm in Allentown right now picking up a 44k of water going back upstate. Take it easy on 33 it's rough as hellnredfor88, bzinger, ProfessionalNoticer and 3 others Thank this.

Stud pilot rims and a solid mount cab in this old girl could be some loose filling sand broken wheel studs in my future LOL.Feedman, jamespmack, JoeyJunk and 1 other person Thank this.

We have Budds on both trucks but the cabs at least have air ride Lol. How heavy are you gonna be

I run these horrible roads every day. Got like 1.1 million on the 93 now and she still has factory king pins and spring bushings. I'm honestly shocked I don't need an alignment and the FS591 steers are wearing perfectly.
You headed down 81 or 17? Re paving 390. 17 is horrendous from Elmira to bing -
A little over 80k gross
-
81 to 380 to 80 to 33 is the plan now. Then either I-78 to 100 or 22 to 100 to get to the Pottstown area
-
380/80/33 isn't a bad ride at all until you get down to rt 22 then it's a little congested. Hills aren't terrible I run that way at 80k all the time

Scenic route.
380/80/33/209 which brings you to the Lehigh river across from the north end of the NE Extension tunnel.
Take PA 248 south instead of crossing the river and bear right on PA 147 directly to 22 at Allentown.
Unfortunately the south end of 147 runs past the mall and thru the 'burbs'.rank, ProfessionalNoticer and JoeyJunk Thank this.
