Maybe looking at a few of beelmans used frameless for sale. Does anybody currently have one? If you work for beelman how do you like it? Does it Unload in a nice pile without dragging it out a ways. I currently have a frame end dump and it leaves a pile perfectly out the back it's great for stock piling product. Will I be disappointed in the frameless?

Frameless trailers no matter the brand won't create a tall pile like a frame, or quarter frame trailer will. The rear of the trailer gets too low on a frameless and you have to pull forward to get the material out which creates a long pile.

Why do people like their frameless, flimsy trailers?

Full frame are so much better.

When you're getting paid a tonnage rate, frame is not better. My lightweight with my frameless full of fuel is 32,800, with a full frame trailer it's 37,000, that's a heck of a difference in pay over the course of a year.

I agree. Most of our end dump work is on our own jobs but it's nice being able to legally throw on an extra ton or two. At the end of the day it might ad up to an extra load and figured on a monthly basis it really pays off.

they aren’t, frameless are lighter, and will actually show you how ####ed up you are dumping in the mirror, also I’d say 90% of the time If they do go over they leave the truck.

    i hate full frame trailers

I have never pulled for Beelman but I know the people that buys and sells the equipment for them. Beelman for some time has had Vantage Trailers that were custom build to Beelman specs. I noticed that they have changed to Armor Lite. From what I have seen and been told Beelman has an excellent maintenance program and updates equipment regularly. No one can answer your question as to disappointment in pile sizes, etc.
My response to your question about piles. There is a bit of a difference between frameless and frame trailers. A good skilled frameless driver can make a nice tight pile, not quite as tight as a frame trailer. Pile size and height are also determined by the material being hauled as well as the area it's being dumped in. While it is important for either trailer to be level, it's much more of an issue with a frameless V.S. frame trailer. Weight being the main thing. There area few other things I prefer about frameless besides weight. The main thing is I can, in most situations get my self unstuck. And well lets just say it, there is nothing more impressive than seeing 40 feet of trailer standing on one axle moving
