I drove for them before we had to run legally. Back then it was a cali turn and an Idaho turn a week. Then had to run legal. Still was able to get 4000 miles no problem. Glad to see they haven’t changed in over 10 years. Their equipment was always nice

    13spd or 10 spd?
    What are they governed at?
    How is the loading/unloading time?

How's the backing with the hood?

I assume they don't have any of those "safety" features?

I have a 23 cascadia and all those loud safety bells and rings, kill my soul a little bit every day. They are definitely killing the joy of the job.

    All 10spds, governed at 70mph .

backing with the hood isn’t thst big of an issue..
if you haven’t before it just takes a short time to get used to it..

absolutely none of the collision avoidance “nanny” systems that the big carriers have… They only have forward facing camera in the truck with no audio.

dynamic is 50% d&h and most of our live load/unloads aren’t more than a couple of hours..now there is some im sure are an exception to that..

75-78 would be sweeter but not a bad gig.

I'll consider it. Thank you for the insight

They had the trucks set at 75 up until apx six weeks ago when he turned him back down to 70… One reason was fuel and another reason from what I was told some people getting into accidents because they don’t know how to drive at 75 miles an hour

Or getting tickets which affects the company CSA scores too. Over here, that was what was happening and they have a guy review the footage of our cameras, especially when a truck is in Cali, and if he sees you going too fast, you get a phone call. We finally got our CSA out of 'intervention' levels so we are supposed to be seeing more green lights on the Prepass.

Where the wife an i work our trucks are set at 68. We've never been late because our trucks aren't set to run faster. To each their own i guess an yea I've driven faster trucks but I've never really had a valid reason for needing to run faster than 65 or so. JMO is all. Not intended to offend anyone.

They had a Driver last month and they showed us the video of it when I was in orientation it was late at night and of course we have the forward facing cameras you could see the reflection off the windshield in the video that he had his cell phone in his right head to the right of the steering wheel typing something And he turn around and veered off the road and hit a flatbed trailer that was disabled with an excavator on it he totaled the truck the trailer destroyed the entire load severely damaged the excavator destroyed their trailer… And he turns around and tells them that somebody ran him off the road even though they’ve got it on camera .. Oh they did bring him in about 10 days ago and fired him from my understanding Fred the owner did face-to-face yes for the accident itself but lying to them so blatantly that Fred doesn’t have any time for that BS
