I have had 2, will not have another. Not worth the cost. On both of mine, once a year or so one of them flairs up with a slight abscess, take heavy doses of an anti-inflammatory for a few days, drain it, and good for another year or so.

    silverspur Thanks this.

Sounds like a sales pitch to push implants. Had a couple many, many moons ago, I'm still here.

I had one maybe 10 years ago. Tooth broke apart a few years later.

Been a few other times where a bad tooth needed a root canal but I just just kept draining the abscess or suffered through the pain until it cleared up by itself.

2 years ago I had a tooth get badly infected, just had it pulled instead of a root canal. Fortunately it was a hometime load so was able to make an emergency dentist visit to get antibiotics to clear up the infection. Maybe just in time too, that night I felt so weak I had trouble standing.

I have had 3. Two last month. One years ago. I ended up needing that tooth pulled later on.

I am smitten with my current dentist so I am welcome to needing more work.

Crap. Just remembered I have another one scheduled for January.

I just had 2 root canals done on the same side next to each other. The X-ray showed infection, when they drilled, Puss just kept flowing. Regardless, had it done and 2 crowns. Cost; $1400.00. Where? A very reputable Dentist is Tijuana Mexico. Took about 6 weeks to complete on every 2 week visits.

Ive had several. First one was a bit ruff, but the others were no big deal. Just had one done a few months ago. I like my teeth.

Had one rear upper molar that had chipped and I left it. Bad choice. He could have repaired it.

Needed pulled. Not fun. They put bone replacement in the jaw and we left it for a year.

Looked good, so drilled in the ‘nursert’ It fell out a week later. Said I was a one in 100.

Second one held, Had scan for fake tooth done today, new tooth in 2 weeks. Only did it because it would have left one lonely tooth out there in the back with no support.

Painless procedure once the tooth is removed - no nerves in the jaw bone.

It’s taken 5 years to get my choppers back to healthy again, a bad dentist in NZ kept me away for 10 years.

Deep cleaning is rough, but a good hygienist and lots of ‘Cain’ is the key.

Tough for drivers to hit appointments and there’s the $$ too - but I’d rather have a full set and keep on top of it than have dental pain.

Had my first cavity that required root canal, I was in Florida at the time. Pain got so bad my whole head was throbbing. Walked into a dentist around the corner from a delivery. Dentist felt so bad for me he gave me antibiotics, x-rays, did a full exam snd didn’t charge me a dime. Held me over till I got back home. $3500 later my tooth was fixed. It’s been two years. About once every couple months the tooth will get sensitive and throb and I think it’s Done but then it goes away. If I have to have another I’ll definitely just get an implant. It’s cheaper and less hassle.

Hold on. That's a 1.5 hour video. How about summarizing what your understanding is of it instead of just posting a link. That would be so much more helpful. I mean, really.
