No. They refuse to show it and will usually blacklist you and won't deal with you. It is federal law and should be enforced by feds, just like they enforce anything else ie IFTA,log books, etc.Renegade92 Thanks this.

then why not turn them in? I own a brokerage, book 2500+ loads a year and I have never had anyone ask what the brokerage made off a load they hauled.
but, your right about blacklisting people. Normally you only get blacklisted if your a pain.
I can only think of 3 companies that I will not load.Crude Truckin', Renegade92, Long FLD and 2 others Thank this. -
Got to love all those that say the broker does no work, has no money invested, just picks up a phone.
When asked why they don't do it, they never answer. Because they have no idea what's involved.
They're only worried about how much someone else makes.
But don't ask them how much they make.
These threads are better than any comedy show there is/wasJohn Joel Glanton, Crude Truckin', GreenPete359 and 8 others Thank this. -
Just the salary of my office manager at my brokerage is 6k a month. Plus rent, taxes, insurance, internet, computers, paper, ink, phones. Should I go on?
Crude Truckin', GreenPete359, Marmon110P and 2 others Thank this. -
But all you have to do is pick up the phone and you have more freight to broker. LOL
I mean, that's what most think.Crude Truckin', GreenPete359, haycarter and 6 others Thank this. -
Freight brokering is easy I think everyone should try it. All you need is a cell phone and a phone book. See note******
***must use a rotary phone or your experience may differ.Crude Truckin', GreenPete359, Renegade92 and 2 others Thank this. -
If it’s so easy to just pick up a phone, then why in the hell are you using brokers in the 1st place?
It’s so easy that you should have direct freight locked up right?
The broker is doing a job you are unwilling to do yourself. They provide you a service, they charge a premium for that service. It’s none of your business what their p&l reports look like.
You’re not forced to use a broker. You could pick the phone up yourself, knock on doors yourself, hire your salesman to sell your services, etc…
You sound like a crazed liberal who is going to defeat capitalism with their Laptop, Iphone, smart watch & Starbucks in hand.
The freight the broker has doesn’t poof appear out of thin air. They don’t sprinkle fairy dust to get their customer lists. They put the work in on the front end to procure the freight, then have to put the work into finding a truck to cover it, then they have to babysit the carrier who booked the load until the load is delivered. Oh and they even have to finance the carrier who booked the load by giving advances and quick pay options, because you don’t know how to properly run your own #### business.John Joel Glanton, Crude Truckin', haycarter and 7 others Thank this. -
no the dispatcher does that, then they turn it all into the factoring company so i can get paid, ###### there’s no money in trucking!Crude Truckin', Renegade92, Long FLD and 1 other person Thank this.
